Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

To commemorate India’s 75th Independence Day, Bird Heritage Foundation, in partnership with the GNCTD, hosted a special ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ event at Bara Lao Ka Gumbad, New Delhi. Over 250 students from a neighbouring government school participated in the festivities, which included a flag hoisting ceremony, patriotic songs, and interactive activities. The celebration concluded with refreshments for all attendees, ensuring a memorable and educational experience for all.






Celestial Sufi Soundscape – A musical evening

Bara Lao Ka Gumbad hosted ‘Celestial Sufi Soundscape’ – a mesmerizing Sufi musical evening organized by Bird Heritage Foundation. The event was graced by Ms. Manisha Saxena, Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India; Mr. Gyan Bhushan, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India; and Ms. Kalpana Khurana, Director, Delhi Development Authority, along with key officials from the Ministry of Tourism.

Ms. Smriti Bhatia, Director, Bird Heritage Foundation, and her team graciously welcomed the distinguished guests, who enjoyed a guided tour of the monument’s illuminated splendour and newly developed amenities. The evening culminated in a mesmerizing performance by renowned Sufi vocalist Dhruv Sangari and his team, who captivated the audience with their soulful melodies. The evening ended with an array of delectable Hors d’oeuvres, served in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
